learning through play

This week on Monday I did learning through play and  I did Makey Makey and it was so fun I tried to make the Pac Man game with tin foil and it was really hard because it was my first time doing  Makey Makey. But I started with a Bee Bot.

A Bee Bot is where you can make the Bee Bot go in circles and you can make it go in zig zags. But then I traded the Bee Bot for a Makey Makey. Then I tried to make a piano with tin foil as well as Pac Man but it was harder than the piano.

Then it was pack up time and then we had to pack there where lots of cords on the ground. I learned how to use Makey Makey in just a short time.

learning through play

On Tuesday we had learning though play and we also had it on Monday to but i was not here. I did junky monkey and you have to take things apart and put them back together  in a different way. But it was hard to do and i didn't really enjoy it

I could not really find a good toy to take apart. i wanted the ones that have cords and stuff inside of it and i wanted magnets in the toy. i found this one toy that had what i wanted in it but i could not brake into it. It had cords and batterys.

next time i might makey makey. It is where you clip cords onto for an example a banana and make sounds. you can use any thing you want to make sound with it. you can make a piano. That is why i want to do it next time.

just dance

  just Dance is an Xbox 360 game that is really fun to play and you try and copy the dance people on the screen are doing. It follows your movement that you do in real life so it can see you dance. We do it every day after morning tea and we do it for a quarter of an hour. 

We have all lots of dances. And we go in Groups of 3, 4, 2 or 1.

 We do just dance at discovery on Friday. Copy the person in front of you on the screen, it could be a Girl or a Boy.

It is good to take your jumper off when you do it or your jacket. We do it on a big screen in front of. We have learnt how to make a bike made of people in one of the dances.

week 8 back at school

On the first day of school. 

It was weird going back to school. I was so used to google meets. I was not used to seeing my friends.

When the lock down finally finished we went back school after 5 weeks.

School. I was so Used to sleeping in and playing games. And now I have to get up early. At 7am and  usually I wake up at 8 30. Now I can see my friends every day.  

 We have to use hand sanitisers when we go in and out of the classroom. I like morning tea and lunch time because I like to play with my friends.
